    UIM0808 is a low-profile Digital I/O Controller with CAN Bus communication interface. User can control the UIM0808 through UIM Gateways (e.g. RS232 / USB / Ethernet) or through user CAN devices. UIM0808 embeds a high-performance DSP processing system with simple instruction set and high fault tolerance. Low-profile small Size (78 x 68 x 13 mm), 8 in / 8 out Digital I/O Controller with CAN bus and Encoder Interface , in full metal (alluminium alloy) case. Robust DSP core and fault tolerance, fail safe user interface, along with free debug/control software and complete SDK, lib, dll and C++, C# example codes. 8 Digital Input ports and 1 quadrature encoder interface. 1500V photoelectric isolation and ESD protection.  8 Digital Outputs with 500 mA per port and 1500V photoelectric isolation. ESD / Overheat / Overload / Short circuit / Overvoltage protection and Current limiting.
